CNA Positions

Openings: Part Time All Shifts

Description: To provide quality resident care as specified on an individualized resident care plan and assignment sheets, according to established policies, procedures and objectives of the facility. This position requires current registration as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of North Dakota. 

Hours: 6am to 2:30pm, 2pm to 10:30pm, or 10pm to 6:30 am

Nursing Positions

Openings: Full Time and Part Time Day Shift, Part Time PM Shift, Full Time Night Shift

Description: Coordinates and directs care of an assigned group of residents during an 8 hour shift according to physcian orders and facility practices. Follows physician orders and the resident's care plan. Provoides accurate, timely documentation to support care delivery. Must hold a current licesne in the state of North Dakota as a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse. Must be CPR certified. IV certification highly recommended for LPN's.

Hours: 6am to 2:30pm, 2pm to 10:30pm, or 10pm to 6:30am

Dietary Aide Position

Openings: Full Time (32 Hours) and Part Time (16 Hours)

Description: This position assists in meeting the nutritional needs of the residents in a long term care facility, by providing appropriate foods and fluids as indicated on diet cards and performing a variety of services related to dining as assigned or scheduled. 

Hours: 8:30am to 5pm

HEALTH INSURANCE

Employees working 60 hours or more in a 2 week pay period are eligible for Health Insurnace. Please see your Human Resources Specialist regarding plan benefits and enrollment criteria.

HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT

The SMP Health System provides a high deductible health care plan with a health savings account.  Please see your Human Resources Specialist regarding plan benefits and enrollment criteria.

FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS

If you do not have a Health Savings Account, you might consider a Flexible Spending Account which provides you with the opportunity through payroll deduction to set aside a portion of what would have been taxable income and deposit the money into a Personal Reimbursement Account.

PAID TIME OFF (PTO)

PTO provides benefit eligible employees (working 15 hours per week or more) with paid time off to use for personal reasons, the occasional sick day, vacations, bereavement, holidays and any unscheduled work absence of 15 minutes or more.

SHORT TERM DISABILITY PROGRAM

A serious medical condition can result in the loss of income that is important to you. The disability plans administered by SMP Health System will help to provide protection during such an event.

CATASTROPHIC (CAT) ACCOUNT

A special Catastrophic Account (CAT Account) provides protection from pay losses due to an employee’s hospitalization or long-term serious medical problems.  Employees hired for at least 15 hours per week are eligible to earn CAT hours.

RETIREMENT AND THE 401(K) SAVINGS PLAN

A 3% contribution is provided by the SMP Health System at no cost to the employee.  The 3% contribution is based on an employee’s gross earnings after one year of service by the SMP facility.  To meet eligibility requirements, employees must complete 1000 hours of service within a twelve month period and employee must be 21 years of age.

SERVICE AWARDS

In recognition of service to SMP Health System, you will receive recognition after the following continuous years of service. (3, 5, 10, 15, 20, etc.). Each milestone in your service at SMP Health System will be recognized by your facility.

Through LiveWell Solutions (our Employee Assistance Program), SMP Health System provides a valuable benefit to you and your family members by making available independent and objective counseling or referral for marital, family, legal, financial, emotional and chemical dependency problems.
